Yale Physics Olympics Preregistration

Please fill out this form to reserve a spot for your team in the 2026 Yale Physics Olympics, to be held rain or shine on Saturday, March 28th 2026  from 8:30am to 4:30pm at the Sloane Physics Laboratory, 217 Prospect Street, New Haven. In registering you are committing to bringing a coach/teacher and a team of 4 high-school-age science students, all able to attend the entire event. Students will be required to provide waivers signed by their parent or guardian to participate.

Upon clicking submit, you should receive an email at the address you gave, listing the information you entered. This email serves as your preregistration confirmation. Please print and/or save it! If you do not receive this email within a few minutes of submitting, email Caitlin Hansen at caitlin.k.hansen@yale.edu.

This number will not be shared or posted and will only be used for last minute critical updates or day-of safety concerns. All other communications will use the email address you provided above.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION

Approximately 2 weeks ahead of the event, we will email you at the address you provide and require that you confirm your registration by completing another online form listing the names of the student participants and confirming the Coach/Teacher that will be attending.

Also at this time you will submit your team name (subject to approval). Please have two options ready to go in case there’s a duplicate, or we deem your first choice unsuitable. So start brainstorming now!!

Failure to confirm your registration at this time may result in loss of your reservation.
